I just listened to a meditation that has me thinking. The guide suggested emptying a room filled with furniture; your life. Put back into the room what is important to you TODAY. Change the clutter to deliberate thought. This person works. This hobby makes me calm. This picture brings back loving memories. Love yourself. Fill your space with joy.

This morning I listened to an interview with Elizabeth Diller, the architect who created The High Line on the far west side of Manhattan. Being a native New Yorker, I understood when she said New Yorkers have to be busy/constructive 24/7. It has taken me years to give myself permission to be quiet, to not be productive. Being quiet has made me look at my years of anger. I can no longer identify with that New Yorker. I take responsibility for my attitude. I feel the love that comes from my family and friends. I am my father’s son and try to be love and light.
