About Dr. I. Jay Asher

Dr.  I. Jay Asher is an award-winning writer and retired family psychotherapist living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is the author of Who Shot Jeremy Strange?, Escape from White Slavery, Murder on the Down-low, and Brighton Beach Murder. He has written a memoir, Sunny Boy. He won second prize in the Art Aware Annual Literary Awards (2012) for his short story, "Jobs in Dubai." His play, "First Date," was performed by the San Jose Playhouse and at Empire Stage in Fort Lauderdale.

Through my novels, I am helping men who have experienced childhood sexual trauma find their way to a full and meaningful life.
