Bullying, Part 1

When you’re being bullied and think you gotta fight back and win, say the following mantra:


To engage at all is, in some way, to lose; no matter how righteous and warranted your outrages are, you’re pulled down to their level.


In such situations, I think of myself as a kindergarten teacher. If your aggressors are acting like kindergartners, stay above the fray and set an example of how a mature adult responds – by not responding.
